What is a Life Coach?
A good life coach is someone who has undergone extensive training and is committed to helping you design a plan of action to bring forth your dreams, goals & desires. A life coach doesn’t show the way; they empower their clients to focus on what’s important, develop healthy habits, take control and be accountable for their lives.
A trained life coach will help to identify the negativity that is holding you back, enable you to overcome blocks, challenges and obstacles, simultaneously identifying your unique strengths, tap into your hidden potential, dramatically increase energy levels* and open possibilities so you can create the life you desire.
In simple terms, a life coach is a life specialist that will enable you to release disempowerment and negativity, thus empowering you to focus on growth, happiness, positivity and success in all areas of your personal and/or professional life.

What Life Coaching Isn’t.
There’s a lot of false expectations, misleading info and myths about Life Coaching. Let’s clarify on what coaching is not…
Life Coaches are not therapists
Therapy typically focuses on the past and “problems”; coaching is focused on the future and solutions. Another way of saying this is that therapy takes people from dysfunctional to functional, whereas coaching takes someone from functional to optimal. It’s also completely normal to see a therapist and a coach at the same time. Each profession plays a specific function and special role to help and guide you on the journey of life.
Life Coaches are not consultants
A consultant is a person who’s an expert at providing professional advice in a particular area. To the contrary, the Life Coach knows and sees that the client is the expert, and has all the answers within. Coaches do not make suggestions and take a completely different approach from a consultant. Life Coaching is about asking empowering questions that open up the vault (world) of hidden opportunities and possibilities for the client. (Its clients).
Life Coaches are not mentors
A mentor is an individual who has professional and life experience within a certain field who provides their expertise and knowledge from a more experienced perspective onto a less experienced (or advanced) person known as the mentee. A Life Coach is an expert at the coaching process which in turn can unlock your true potential.
